The Committee will review all scholarship requests and award a scholarship based on the following criteria:
 
Professional Procurement Goals: Applicant shall submit information that lists their goals in the procurement profession and how the class/training/professional certification, etc. will obtain their goals.
 
Contributions to the Procurement Profession and/or the Chapter: Applicant shall provide information that shows contributions the individual has made to the procurement profession and/or the Chapter within the last two (2) years.
 
Financial Need Statement: Scholarship funds used due to financial need can only be used for expenses that are not covered by other reimbursements from the agency or other granting sources. Applicant must note in their application all other payments or reimbursements to be received from any other sources.
 
If the applicant is employed and the class/training/professional certification, etc. will occur during scheduled work hours, the application requires acknowledgement from the applicant's direct supervisor.
 
Race, creed, color, national origin, gender, age, or the employment status of the applicant (other than within public procurement) will not be considered when awarding Chapter scholarships.
